Two Bishop Gorman students make their Broadway Debut
Congratulations to Marie Munoz '25 and Luke Martin '25 on their outstanding Broadway debut at the Minskoff Theatre during The 2024 Jimmy Awards. Marie showcased her talent as Eponine and Luke dazzled as Jean Valjean, both performing memorable solos from Les Miserables.
Luke also achieved the honor of becoming a Jimmy Award Finalist, earning a second solo performance and receiving a $5,000 scholarship.

The Jimmy Awards will stream for free beginning at 7:30pm ET on Monday, June 24 on Facebook and YouTube. The ceremony will remain available online for three days afterwards, through Thursday evening, June 27. Luke Martin and Marie Munoz received the titles of Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Lead Actress at the Nevada High School Musical Theatre Awards!
Luke and Marie will have the honor of representing the State of Nevada in New York City at the Jimmy Awards ON BROADWAY this summer!

Congratulations to Sophia Wilson, who won a $2,000 college scholarship at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards! Wilson competed at the Jimmy Awards after winning Best Actress at The Smith Center’s Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards!

Ray Winters and Maddie Turner were awarded Best Actor and Best actress at the Nevada High School Musical Theatre Awards in Bishop Gorman's first year participating. Both went on to perform at the Jimmy Awards in New York City. They were featured in the character medleys!
